the "Golden Triangle" - Delhi - Agra - Jaipur you could view
Lutyen's Delhi as well as Old Delhi, the famous Taj Mahal in Agra and catch

DAY 3. DELHI / AGRA (204 Kms/ 4 -5 hours)
- Morning, drive to Agra via a sightseeing halt at Sikandara.
- on arrival, proceed to the Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal,
- Overnight at Hotel
DAY 4. AGRA / FATEHPUR SIKRI / AGRA (40 Kms / 1 hour)
- Morning, proceed to Fatehpur Sikri the abandoned capital of India - the
Emperor Akbar shifted capitals, from Delhi to Fatehpur Sikri, but had to
shift back due to shortage of water.
- Later day for shopping or other independent activities.
- Overnight at hotel
DAY 5. AGRA / JAIPUR (230 Kms / 5 hours)
- Morning, drive on to Jaipur
- On arrival, proceed to the Samode Palace, perhaps staying on for lunch
- Afternoon, proceed sightseeing to the City Palace and Museum, then the
Jantar Mantar a 16 century Observatory for keeping the time and preparing
Almanacs. Overnight at hotel of choice.
DAY 6. JAIPUR - DELHI (260 Kms / 5 hours)
- Early morning, drive out to Amer Fort- maybe riding up the ramparts of
the Amber Fort on elephant back!
- Later return to Delhi.
DAY 7 DEPARTURE -DELHI
- Day free, Later transfer to International Airport for flight to onward
destination.

Varanasi &
Khajuraho
Historical Cities:
Delhi - Kathmandu - Varanasi - Khajuraho - Agra -
Delhi is a popular circuit and can be covered over a period of
ten days with two nights at each place.
Varanasi : situated on the banks of sacred Ganges, it is a
pilgrimage centre for Indians. Though overpopulated, it has ancient learning
centres for Sanskrit and Shastras. In Hindu ethos, Varanasi is considered
the place to end one's life journey!
Khajuraho : Connected by air to Agra and Varanasi, its temples
depict aspects of Indian life a thousand years ago during the Chandela
period. A famous dance festival is held every March for about ten days
drawing some of the best classical dancers of India as well as a large
number of visitors.
Day
1. ARRIVE DELHI
- arrive Delhi, met by our representative and transfer to Hotel
- Overnight at hotel of choice.
Day 2. DELHI / KATHMANDU
- morning, transfer to International Airport, for flight to Kathmandu
- fly Delhi / Kathmandu .On arrival transfer to hotel
- later, proceed for sightseeing tour of the city,
- Overnight at hotel of choice.
Day 3. KATHMANDU
- morning, proceed for a day excursion to Patan city, and Nagarkot
- Overnight at hotel.
Day 4. KATHMANDU / VARANASI
- morning, transfer to airport
- fly Kathmandu / Varanasi , received on arrival
- rest of the day free
- overnight at the Hotel
Day 5. VARANASI
- early morning transfer to the banks of the river Ganges for a sunrise
boat excursion
- later, proceed on a guided excursion to Sarnath
- overnight at the hotel
Day 6. VARANASI / KHAJURAHO - Morning at leisure or optional
activity. Afternoon, transfer to airport
- fly Varanasi / Khajuraho - received on arrival in the evening ,
- overnight at hotel of choice
Day 7. KHAJURAHO - morning, proceed to the temples complex for full
day guided sightseeing

Day 8. KHAJURAHO / AGRA - Morning free .Afternoon, transfer to
airport
- fly Khajuraho / Agra , received on arrival in the evening, transfer to

Day 9 AGRA
- morning, proceed sightseeing to the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah, the Taj
Mahal and the Agra Fort
