DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1 : Arrive Delhi
- arrive International airport, received and transferred to accommodation
- Hotel - The Imperial
Day 2 : Delhi.
- full day sightseeing of New and Old Delhi

Day 3 : Delhi- Mandawa. ( 240 Kms / 5-6 hours)
- After breakfast drive to Mandawa.
- Upon arrival Check in to Hotel, after noon explore the Havelis of
Mandawa.
- Overnight at Castle Mandawa
Day 4 : Mandawa
- Visit the Havelis of Fatehpur and around .
- Overnight at the hotel Castle Mandawa.
Day 5 : Mandawa - Bikaner ( 230 Kms/ 5 hours)
- After breakfast drive at leisure to Bikaner. After noon visit Junagarh
Fort, Lalgarh Palace and the Deshnok Karni Mata Temple.

Day 6 : Bikaner - Jaisalmer. ( 335 Kms / 7 hours)
- After breakfast at the hotel drive to Jaisalmer.
- Arrive and check into hotel.

- Day for sightseeing , visit the Fort and Havelis.

- Drive to Khimsar this morning

- Afternoon proceed for half day guided sightseeing tour of this 15th
century city set on the fringes of the Thar Desert. and dominated by the
magnificent Maherangarh Fort and the dazzling white marble cenotaphs of the
Jaswant Thada

Day 11 : Jodhpur
- Excursion to Bishnoi Villages to experience the local life

- morning after a leisurely breakfast , proceed to Roopangarh Fort.
- Rest of the day to explore the fort and surroundings.

Day 13: Roopangarh - Jaipur ( 125 Kms, 3 hours)
- Drive to Jaipur via halt at Ajmer( 50 Kms ) .. to visit the Dargah
Shareef .

Day 14: Jaipur
- early morning, drive out to Amer, riding up the ramparts of the Amber
Fort on elephant back ( optional)
- afterwards proceed to Samode Palace, perhaps staying on for lunch
- on return to Jaipur, proceed sightseeing to the City Palace and Museum,
then the Jantar Mantar a 16-century Observatory for keeping the time and
preparing Almanacs

Day 15 : Jaipur - Agra ( 5 hours)
- morning, proceed on long drive to Agra

Morning after breakfast leave for Fatehpur Sikri the abandoned capital of
India ..(40 Kms.)

Day 17 Agra - Delhi ( 204 Kms / 5 hours ) Departure.
- After breakfast proceed to Delhi via Sikandra .
- Rest of the day free in Delhi for shopping and other independent

tribe and quite different from the people you meet - a terrific conservation
ethic - you get to participate in an Opium Ceremony before lunch-at Jodhpur.
- An old style Rajasthani feast - during your stay in Jodhpur with
musicians, folk dances and fireworks., Rangoli, camel processions etc. at

eighty kilometers and four hours, by coach, from Delhi, is Sariska; site for
the Sariska Game Sanctuary and the Sariska Palace, built by Maharaja Jai
SINGH of ALWAR.

Project Tiger Reserve, the Sanctuary provides habitat for leopard, tiger,
jungle cat, hyena, porcupine, wild boar, species of deer - sambar and

THE SARISKA PALACE

- Proceed to the SARISKA PALACE - 36 km. ( 40 min. ) to a Royal Rajput

- Lunch at the Palace
- Brief Rest, followed by an afternoon - ACTIVITY / EXCURSION PER CHOICE**
- An Ayurvedic Massage, perhaps or exploration of Virat Nagar, Siliset.
- Dinner - 2000 hrs. ( possibly an open air barbecue, with a Tribal Dances
performance )
- After Dinner - 2200 hrs. an optional 90 min. trek by Mashaal (
traditional jungle torches ) light, through the jungles, accompanied by a
